Where To Watch helps you find nearby bars and pubs showing football matches. We collect as little as possible. This policy explains what we use and why.
When you allow it, we use your device's approximate location to find bars near you and sort them by distance. Your location is sent to our server only to run that search — it is not stored against your identity and is never sold. You can use town search instead and leave location off.
Browsing needs no account. If you create one to save favourites, we store your email and display name to sign you in. You can request deletion any time at the contact address below.
If you submit a beer price, confirm a venue shows football, or confirm outdoor seating, that contribution is stored with the venue (not with your name) to help other fans.
The app shows data from: football-data.org (fixtures & scores), OpenStreetMap (bar locations), TheSportsDB (club & league badges), flagcdn.com (country flags), and Google Places (venue photos). Venue photos are fetched and cached on our server. These providers may receive standard request metadata (such as an IP address) when their images load.
Some venues may be shown as Sponsored — clearly labelled paid placements. Sponsored placement does not change the price or football data we show. We do not sell your personal information.
We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage and crash data to keep the app working and improve it. This does not identify you.
The app is intended for users 18+ (it lists venues that serve alcohol).
